Winter is coming and along with it comes the parties. As December starts to approach, our Christmas spirit starts to bloom. The month dedicated to family and special events is on its way and it’s time to start thinking about our looks for this holiday season. Find the style that fits you best and shine at each and every one of the events.
For 2016’s holiday parties A Better You has collected hairstyles that go from plaits to vintage waves and makeup looks that include bold lips and smoky eyes. Make sure to have a trending style and you’ll feel Christmas and New Year parties more enjoyable.
Remember, we never recommend applying drastic hairstyle changes near an important date. Plan your hairstyle ahead (toner, ombre, haircut, etc.) and avoid an irreversible tragedy a few days before the event. This also applies to face waxing. So, book your appointment in advance and start planning your holiday’s looks with our stylists.
Some looks our hairstylists suggest for December 2016 are:
Vintage curls or retro waves.
Ultra-sleek bob cut.
Hair accessories, such as a pearl headband.
A half-up, half-down hair bun. If you’re wearing ombre, it’ll look even better.
For makeup, A Better You’s makeup artists recommend:
Extreme glitter eye makeup with matte nude-lips.
Burgundy lipstick with subtle eyeshadow.
Smokey eyes combined with nude lips.
Bold lips (preferably red) and shimmering rose gold eyeshadow.
Very natural makeup, almost-nude eyes, and bright red lipstick.
Regarding manicure, we recommend the following:
The classic bright red nails.
Paint one silver and the other ones red.
Combine red and green nail polishes in any way you prefer.
You can choose any Christmas design: pine trees, gingerbread man, snowflakes, and Christmassy patters, among many others.
You can combine them all, depending on your outfit and facial traits, to obtain the perfect look for this Christmas parties. Remember, A Better You’s hairstylists, makeup artists, and manicurists can help you choose the best combination for you. The Christmas tree won’t be the only one shining this year!
